ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE CHEF

Darius Zvinis, the Executive Chef of Landings Restaurant at The Falcon Hotel, is from Vancouver, Canada, and has worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, learning and watching, and brings a creative menu to Farnborough from cuisine-rich Vancouver.

Wine is a huge passion for Darius, and pairing food and wine creates the ultimate dining experience. A trained wine expert, studying under world-renowned sommelier, Mark Davidson, Darius has created a perfectly pairing wine list for Landings to truly complement the ingredients in his menu.

Darius' wine list also features some wines you will not find in your local wine store, and they can even be enjoyed by the glass, not just the bottle.

PHILOSOPHY

Darius' philosophy on food is simple: simple ingredients creating simple dishes. "It's amazing how many chefs try to create ingredient heavy dishes where the result is a catastrophe--too many flavours can ruin a dish." Darius' uses local, quality ingredients, and prepares them using simple techniques, creating delicious and flavourful dishes which continue to amaze guests.

Darius wanted to bring fine-dining quality food, served in a contemporary fine-dining environment, with a casual ambience, inviting for all occasions, and that's exactly what he's created.
